The primary function of the person filling the position of Quality Analyst – CMM Operator is to perform part, process, and system audits as well as to conduct part/product dimensional layouts to ensure adherence to the Mueller operating procedures, guidelines, and specifications. Daily documentation, interpretation, and reporting of those findings to the appropriate management function will be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional inspections using FARO arms, optical inspection equipment, and hand-held measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial-indicators, as well as go and no-go gauges. Understand basic GD&T controls and principlesConduct the Receiving Inspection function on items purchased from outside vendors to determine conformance to specifications.Manage incoming inspection area and process.
