You spot a tool wear trend before it becomes an issue, swap inserts, log the change, and keep production flowing—safely, accurately, and efficiently. This position is 2nd shift.
What you'll do- Set up and run CNC horizontal machining centers with repeatable precision.
- Load/unload fixtures, workholding, cutting tools, and CNC programs for each job.
- Tune and adjust cutting tools and offsets to maintain quality.
- Follow standardized work, document production/quality data, and escalate issues promptly.
- Use and interpret inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions.
