Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct first‑piece inspection after tool changes for affected dimensions
- Adjust or replace inserts/cutters as needed
- Read and interpret setup sheets, job routers, inspection plans, and applicable documents
- Maintain machines and work areas clean and organized (5S)
- Optimize production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets
- Reuse cutters where possible to minimize waste and reduce costs
- Conduct quality checks on parts and components
Scope of Authority
- Follow instructions from superiors and complete tasks within assigned cycle time or target
- Ensure proper handling and reuse of used cutters for cost savings
- Conduct quality inspections on components and products
