About the Role
Our client, a manufacturing company in the oil & gas sector, is looking to fill this CNC Machinist position on a permanent basis. This is a hands‑on technical role suited to a candidate with genuine machining capability—beyond basic machine operation, you will be expected to read and interpret mechanical drawings independently and work confidently with Fanuc‑controlled CNC turning and/or milling machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily machine set‑up
- Operate CNC turning and/or milling machines
- Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Apply knowledge of measuring instruments and ball gauges
- Perform basic programming (an advantage)
- Maintain housekeeping standards at the workstation
Requirements
