Overview
As a CNC Setter Operator at Cosworth, you will be responsible for manufacturing crankshafts and camshafts as well as a variety of other engine components for super/hyper car manufacturers. In this role, you will set up and operate multiple CNC machines, read and edit programs to ensure smooth operations, and conduct quality control checks using various measurement tools. You will inspect and maintain machinery, tooling, and equipment, with the goal of ensuring all parts meet specifications and minimising production downtime.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture camshafts and crankshafts for Automotive and Aerospace customers.
- Set up and operate machines in a safe manner with regard to themselves and others, complying with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Produce components to the company standard in the most efficient / cost effective manner.
