Job Summary: The Collection Specialist will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, resolving misunderstandings, and educating them on payment terms and consequences. Responsibilities
- Call customers with overdue accounts to discuss payment options.
- Explain the benefits of repayment and how it affects their credit history.
- Correct any misunderstandings regarding product policies and terms.
- Diffuse tension stemming from previous negative customer experiences.
- Set up payment plans and establish follow-up schedules.
- Educate customers on the consequences of late payments.
- Escalate difficult or unusual cases to the Team Lead as needed.
