Summary You will serve as a COMBINED TRADES SUPERVISOR II in the RIGGING AND HANDLING OPERATIONS DIVISION (CODE 740), LIFTING AND HANDLING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will plan, direct, and coordinate the work of subordinate first-level supervisors. You will serve as the final on-site authority for resolving complex technical problems and integration conflicts. You will maintain balanced workloads by directing the shifting of assignments and resources between subordinates. You will exercise second-level, delegated authority for all personnel and administrative functions. You will provide authoritative information and advice to higher-level supervisors and management officials on the feasibility of work assignments, workload data, and budget estimates.
