Commercial Legal Counsel - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Dan has been mandated on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join a Local Government Pension Fund. The role involves sitting in a small team and reporting to the Director of Risk and General Counsel. The position is based in Bristol , with flexibility for remote working and occasional visits to the Bristol HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on contracts and arrangements including employment, commercial, supply of goods and services, and investment-related documents.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory obligations impacting the fund.
- Advise on the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Research and implement laws and regulations from the FCA, advising the business accordingly.
- Aid with FOIA requests.
- Support the wider business including Compliance and HR.
