The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial/Privacy Lawyer to provide legal advice and support within a Commonwealth Department’s Legal team.
The Responsibilities
The key responsibilities will include:
- providing advice, research and support regarding varying commercial law, privacy law, information law and governance matters;
- assisting with privacy law, commercial law, information law and governance matters, including advice in relation to major projects related to ICT, construction, property, commercial negotiations, tenders and contracts;
- assisting with corporate governance including delegations and authorisations, memorandums of understanding and existing powers under legislation;
- engaging with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to external agencies, and suppliers;
