Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation activities including washing peeling chopping and portioning ingredients
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately under the guidance of senior chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas kitchen equipment and utensils
- Assist in the implementation of food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service operations
- Support in the preparation of mise en place for various stations in the kitchen
- Assist in plating and presentation of dishes according to established standards
- Participate in regular team meetings and briefings
- Contribute to maintaining proper inventory levels and minimizing food waste
