Job Description
TEKsystems is partnering with a client looking for a Commissioning Electrician to lead vendor instruction and certification efforts for electrical systems in a data center environment. This contractor will train and evaluate vendor technicians on executing functional testing scripts across medium and low voltage systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and EPMS. The role involves conducting hands-on field training, assessing competency, issuing certifications, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, the position supports the development and continuous improvement of a vendor training program by contributing to curriculum, materials, and assessments. Qualified candidates will hold a Journeyman Electrician license, have 5+ years of commissioning experience, and possess strong technical, communication, and evaluation skills.
