Job Title: Commodity Specialist

Designs, implements, and administers commodity acquisition strategy. Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability. Develops negotiation strategies to create a win-win relationship between the company and suppliers. Assists in identifying new, high-potential suppliers. Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information. Builds stable working relationships internally. Works on issues of limited scope. Follows established practices and procedures in analysing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
