Job Description
Summary:
Operators will answer all calls from outside and inside of the hospital, extending calls to various departments and nurses’ stations and rooms. Also assists patients, physicians, and administrative staff in dialing long-distance calls. Operators will page physicians, nurses, or other employees on request. Operators are also responsible for paging alert and disaster codes in a calm and courteous manner.

Have the ability to follow written or verbal directions and show the ability to work effectively with others in a professional manner.
