Community Advocate
Opportunities for Otsego is seeking a compassionate, community-minded professional to strengthen the support network for low-income individuals across Otsego County by partnering with local organizations and advocating on behalf of individuals seeking assistance. As Community Advocate you will:
+ Serve as the point of contact for persons seeking general support from OFO and conduct comprehensive assessment of need
+ Connect individuals with internal and external programs and maintain follow-up to support ongoing access to services
+ Share resource and referral information with persons seeking assistance, staff, community members, and professionals as requested
+ As assigned - represent the agency at community events, meetings, and outreach activities to raise awareness and promote programs and services
