Community Nurse Evening and Overnight District Nursing

This role is offered on a permanent basis and is part‑time, requiring 18 hours per week with potential to increase.
The core hours are 7 pm to 8 am. Primary duties include:
- Working night shifts (10 pm–8 am) and some twilight shifts (7 pm–1 am).
- Providing community nursing services to patients needing unplanned care during out‑of‑hours periods.
- Co‑working with the Integrated Urgent Care Service, out‑of‑hours GP and Rapid Response team.
- Delivering clinical care and documentation using mobile devices (laptop and smartphone) for real‑time records.
- Working on a 7‑day schedule, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Participating in preceptorship and professional development programmes.
Driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes are essential.
