Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated dual-role companion and facilitator to work one-on-one with an 18-year-old male with Cerebral Palsy, autistic tendencies, and dyspraxia. This bi-weekly, rotational position requires providing structured facilitation at SNAP (farm-based setting) as well as consistent support with daily routines at home. He enjoys trains, airplanes, boats, and penguins, and thrives when supported with energy, enthusiasm, and predictability. This role requires someone who genuinely cares about helping others and is prepared to provide long-term, consistent support. Purpose of the Role: To be a helping hand to a young adult with unique and specific challenges and support needs, giving him the necessary guidance and support to thrive. A special interest and passion to be a secure, long-term source of support is of the utmost importance.
