Purpose of the Position
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring a compliance framework across all business facets. The role will evolve into a medium‑term Compliance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Embed a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance risk management and monitoring plans.
- Ensure staff compliance with applicable legislation, including required training.
- Stay current on legislation affecting institutional asset management, including POPIA, Financial Advisory Act, Financial Intelligence Centre Act, CISCA, Regulation 28, and Medical Schemes Act.
