Enhance facilities maintenance with GFL as a Compost Maintenance Technician in Moose Creek, Ontario. Work on mechanical systems, perform daily cleaning, and ensure operational efficiency.
This permanent position involves collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Manager to maintain optimal plant performance at the Moose Creek compost facility. You will be responsible for equipment cleaning, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. A strong mechanical knowledge base will be key to succeeding in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily cleaning of turners and conveying equipment
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Manage inventory of critical spare parts
• Execute emergency repairs as needed
