Consultant Medicine for Older Adults
NHS Lanarkshire invites applications for a Consultant Medicine for Older Adults based at Hairmyres Hospital. The post allows a committed clinician to join the University Hairmyres Hospital Consultants working within Older Peoples Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment as part of Acute and Interface Geriatrics
- Provide Acute Receiving, Frailty at the Front Door, Hospital at Home, and Intermediate Care services
- Possibility to involve in areas of specialty interest
Work Arrangement
The job is offered as a full‑time post on a 10 PA basis, with consideration for part‑time applicants. EPA’s may be available for both part‑time and full‑time positions. Proposals for additional SPA time are encouraged; applicants may discuss these proposals with the Recruitment Lead or Service Manager.
