About the Role
Waikato Hospital is seeking a highly skilled, broadly experienced Neurosurgeon to join our dedicated Neurosurgery team from August 2026.
As one of four Neurosurgeons in a regional tertiary centre, you will provide comprehensive care across elective, acute, and emergency settings. The role requires a surgeon with strong generalist capability, excellent clinical judgement, and the adaptability needed to work within a small, highperforming team.
You will contribute to the full spectrum of neurosurgical services, including outpatient clinics, operative management, inpatient care, oncall duties, and nonclinical responsibilities such as teaching, audit, and service development.
