Opportunity

Obstetric Medicine (Maternal Medicine) integrates care by obstetric physicians specialized in internal medicine with a multidisciplinary team to provide care for women with medical problems in pregnancy or who develop medical complications.

The only formal full‑time accredited training position for Obstetric Medicine in New Zealand, with certification issued by the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (SOMANZ).

Responsibilities

  • Provide acute clinical assessment of inpatient care for women with a wide range of medical disorders in pregnancy.
