Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeon – Royal Hospital for Children. This permanent 40‑hour per week on‑call post includes management of elective and emergent ENT admissions, outpatient clinics, and inpatient / day‑case theatre. One‑to‑eight on‑call shift pattern. Posted at NHSGGC, serving over 1.15 million patients.

Part of a multidisciplinary team of 7 consultant otolaryngologists, 1 audiovestibular physician, 2 specialty doctors, 1 senior clinical fellow, 2 speciality registrars, GP trainees, 2 complex airway clinical nurse specialists and 2 ENT clinical nurse specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee elective and emergency ENT admissions and outpatient clinics.
- Lead inpatient and day‑case theatre activities.
- Participate in departmental research and education programmes.
- Provide on‑call support (1:8 ratio).
