Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology
Applications are invited for a full‑time consultant post in Diabetes & Endocrinology at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. The successful candidate will join a team of eight consultants across three sites and have opportunities to develop a specialist interest within a multidisciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses, podiatrists and dietitians.
Main duties of the job
The post is based primarily at Pinderfields but covers all three hospitals (Pontefract, Dewsbury and Pinderfields). Key responsibilities include:
- A range of general and specialist outpatient services in Diabetes and Endocrinology
- Contribution to Acute Medicine on call and general medical inpatients
- Diabetes & Endocrinology outpatient clinics, MDT meetings and support for the inpatient diabetes team
