Consultant Psychiatrist – Mental Health Observation Area (MHOA)
Location - Bunbury Regional Hospital | WA
Contract - Permanent Full Time - Part Time
Salary - MP Year 1–9
Bunbury Regional Hospital is expanding its Mental Health inpatient services and is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to join the new Mental Health Observation Area (MHOA).
This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role within an evolving regional mental health service and contribute to one of Western Australia’s largest hospital redevelopment projects.
The Role
As a Consultant Psychiatrist within the MHOA, you will:
- Provide senior clinical leadership in acute and inpatient mental health care
- Deliver trauma‑informed, person‑centred and culturally safe care
- Lead and support multidisciplinary teams, including supervision of junior doctors
