Consultant Psychiatrist – Perinatal Care
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Industry: Hospital and Health Care – Function: Physician – Employment Type: Full‑time.
Salary range: 70,000–95,000 AED per year (subject to final offer).
Position Overview: Provide specialist psychiatric care for women before conception, during pregnancy, and after delivery. The role involves clinical judgment affecting maternal wellbeing and infant safety, supporting patients with new or pre‑existing mental health conditions, guiding medication planning, providing crisis intervention, and closely collaborating with obstetrics, maternal‑fetal medicine, neonatology, psychology, and midwifery teams. The consultant contributes to early detection, staff training, clinical governance, research, and strengthening perinatal mental health pathways in Dubai.
