Job Description
Clinical Interpretation and Reporting
- Clinical interpretation of PET-CT and SPECT-CT studies in collaboration with nuclear physicians
- Clinical interpretation of other medical imaging studies (CT, MRI, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography)
- Attendance at multidisciplinary team meetings to present CAF/NII studies
- Contributing to clinical service of Tygerberg Hospital's Divisions of Radiodiagnosis and Nuclear Medicine as capacity allows
Research Imaging Analysis
- Research analysis and reporting of medical imaging studies including extraction of quantitative imaging parameters
- Applying standardised response assessment systems such as RECIST to clinical trial imaging
- Refining existing imaging protocols and workflows and developing new protocols
- Contributing to planning of medical imaging services to optimise research impact and cost-effectiveness
