Consultant Radiologist with Cardio-Thoracic Interest

The post is based at Kettering General Hospital, with cross-site working encouraged at the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN). It is a replacement post with a sub‑specialty interest in cardiothoracic imaging. The post holder will join an established cohesive team of radiologists supporting clinicians and delivering acute and elective imaging in both specialist areas and in general radiology.
Main duties of the job
This post supports emergency radiology, cancer imaging reporting, attends multidisciplinary team meetings, and covers ultrasound (if appropriate), CT and MR sessions in the working week. The role includes all aspects of a sub‑specialty radiologist: supervising and reporting cardiac CT and cardiac MRI, cardiac imaging MDT, vetting, reporting, duty (hot reporting/CT/MRI and emergency service) and on‑call.
