About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Consultant (Senior Medical Officer – SMO) Renal Physician to join our team. The role provides a full service for the management of acute and chronic renal disease to the central region of New Zealand (Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District and Wairarapa District), with home dialysis services to Nelson/Marlborough District. This includes outpatient consultations, inpatient services, renal transplant services and a comprehensive pre‑dialysis service. The service has a strong focus on home‑based dialysis (peritoneal and haemodialysis) and operates satellite centres at Kenepuru and Hutt Valley.
