Summary This vacancy is for a GS-1102-9, Contract Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Operational Logistics Command (LOGCOM) LOG-93 Regional Contracting Branch Southeast in NORFOLK, Virginia. Promotion Potential: If this position is filled at a GS-09 level below the full performance level (GS-11), the selectee may be promoted without further competition. Responsibilities You will serve as a Contract Specialist and be responsible for procurement to support SILC-COCO-BSS and all Areas of Responsibility (AOR) including but not limited to: the acquisition of supplies, services, minor construction, or emergency response to procure any commodity/service required to support the AOR.
