Controller II

Manitowoc is currently looking for a Finance Controller (M/F) to join its team at the Baltar facility in Portugal. In your new role, you will be responsible for overseeing controlling, finance, tax, and compliance activities for the company’s entities in Portugal and Spain.

Major responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): 

Develops budgets, forecasts, and financial models; 

Analyzes financial performance and provides strategic insights. 

Compiles for the legal entity the plan information coming from product lines and operations on P/L & BS.

Reporting and Compliance: 

MEC (Month End Close) Prepares accurate monthly financial statements and reports

Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Internal Controls and Risk Management: 

Implements and monitors internal control systems for SOX compliance
