This role sits within the Research and Development Engineering Division of a global leader in magnet wire manufacturing. The Controls Engineer designs, programs, and supports advanced control systems and industrial automation solutions for new processes and equipment. The position focuses on project-based work rather than reactive factory support, and involves hands-on PLC programming, electrical design, and integration of automated machinery across multiple platforms, including Rockwell, Omron, and Ignition.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and program PLC applications, with a primary focus on Allen-Bradley platforms and additional exposure to Siemens and Omron systems.
