Job Description
Responsibilities
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens)
- Program and integrate industrial robots in BIW applications (spot welding, handling, sealing)
- Commission and debug body shop equipment and robotic cells
- Support production launches, cycle time improvements, and downtime reduction
- Integrate robots with PLC‑controlled systems and safety devices
- Work with welding systems (spot welding, projection welding, stud welding)
- Perform system validation, buy‑offs, and customer acceptance tests
- Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and robotic issues on‑site
- Collaborate with controls, mechanical, and production teams
