A full-time Cook position is now available at a busy Roadhouse in Clare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast and takeaway meals according to menu requirements.
- Preparing ingredients including chopping vegetables, marinating meat, portioning food, and preparing sauces and side dishes.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
- Ensuring all food is prepared and presented according to food safety and quality standards.
- Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistency and avoid wastage.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, benches, utensils, cooking equipment, cool rooms, and storage areas.
