Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare ingredients (washing, peeling, cutting etc.) Prepare and serve daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and tea) for children and staff Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, pantry, and food storage areas Assist in ensuring there are sufficient ingredients for daily cooking Label and store the food properly to prevent spoilage and cross-contamination Responsible for replenishment of pantry snacks, water supply in classrooms and prepare refreshment for the meeting when applicable Assist with cleaning duties when the cleaner is not on duty Assist in serving meals for the children Other tasks assigned by the Principal REQUIREMENTS: Prior cooking experience in childcare or similar environment preferred Good knowledge of food hygiene and food preparation Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards in childcare settings Able to multitask and follow structured routines Physically fit and able to perform cooking and cleaning tasks
