Job Description
Our client is looking for experienced cooks as working as part of their team in food preparation and presentation of meals as required to total customer satisfaction.
Required:
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV
- OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
- Preparation, creation, decoration of food items
- Eamining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- Plan, develop and estimate food costs when ordering food supplies
- Monitor quality of dishes
- Prepare and cook food demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques
- Season food during cooking
- Portion food
- Keep kitchen and enforce hygiene regulations
- Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine
