Cook – Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Residential Recovery Service (Stabilisation)
Employment Details
Location: Glasgow
Hours: Part time – 29.5 hours, 4 days a week covering every second weekend
Salary: £25,877 pro rata (approximately £13.45 per hour)
Contract: Permanent
Role Overview
- Manage day‑to‑day kitchen operations, including food ordering, budgeting and maintaining cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food standards legislation.
- Prepare, cook and serve meals to residents, accommodating dietary requirements.
- Collaborate with support, nursing and medical staff to monitor residents’ health and behaviour.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team activities and support residents’ personal goals.
