Overview
Position Title: Corporate Accounting Supervisor
Job Type: Remote (Cape Town & Johannesburg, South Africa)
Timing: US Time Zone (EST)
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including approval of journal entries, preparation and maintenance of account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for management, as required.
- Collaborate with the Accounting VP, Director, and Manager to develop and implement process improvements aimed at streamlining close schedules and increasing operational efficiency.
