Corporate Finance Associate
Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to join a leading law firm in Dallas. This role offers hands-on experience working on complex financing transactions with lenders, borrowers, and private equity clients.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate credit agreements, term sheets, and financing documents
- Work on syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and private credit deals
- Support deal execution, closings, and transaction management
- Collaborate with clients, including lenders, sponsors, and portfolio companies
Qualifications:
- 24 years of corporate finance experience
- Experience with credit facilities and financing transactions
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Team-oriented with strong academic credentials
- Texas Bar admission preferred (or admission to another state bar required)
