Salt Recruitment’s Local Government team are supporting a Local Governmetnt body with the recruitment of a Council Tax Billing Officer to join their Revenues and Benefits service.
This role sits within the Billing & Compliance team, playing a key part in delivering a high-quality, resident-focused service. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely administration of all aspects of Council Tax billing, including liability decisions, processing discounts and exemptions, and issuing bills.
The position offers the flexibility to work from home on a full-time basis, with IT equipment provided. You will be required to attend the office in Basildon on your first day to collect your equipment.
