Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain a professional, efficient, effective and timely courier service with the collection and delivery of Medical Records, Pharmacy, Specimens, Blood, Sterile Services, Post, Parcels, Furniture, General Equipment and other Confidential and Sensitive items to Healthcare establishments throughout Cornwall,
- Organise and sort items into route order prior to delivery and during the route to ensure that they arrive at their delivery point in the same condition in which they left their dispatch point.
- Maintain total confidentiality in the handling, sorting and distribution of sensitive patient material.
- Ensure that all items for distribution are routinely cleared from the Post Room and Courier Store and delivered to the appropriate address by the end of the day.
- Drive in a safe and considerate manner in accordance with Road Traffic Legislation.
