Fall 2026 Course Lecturer – ECON 424-001 International Payments (3 credits – CAP 80) in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts.
Course Overview
A review of the theory and policy of international financial relations. Topics include:
- Balance of payments
- Exchange rates
- Global capital markets
- International monetary system
Teaching Responsibilities
- Teach the course as scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday 02:35pm–03:55pm, Aug –Dec42026.
- Prepare and update course materials.
- Report student grades.
Qualifications
- Doctoral level study in Economics, including completed comprehensive examinations for the PhD, or a completed PhD degree in Economics.
- Evidence of highly effective teaching ability or superior communication skills and potential for teaching excellence.
