Court Victim Advisor
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time position based at the Manukau District Court
It is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and adaptable person who has the necessary specialist knowledge, skills and experience to make a major contribution to assisting victims of crime through the court process.
You will make an enormous difference to victims through what you do. You will keep victims updated on the progress of their case and help them participate effectively in the Criminal Justice System.
The role requires you to demonstrate:
* Resilience when it comes to working with people
* A calm nature and an ability to relate to people
* Ability to enjoy the challenges of working with stakeholders and with victims who have been affected by serious crime, primarily family violence.
