We’re looking for someone who can keep lessons running smoothly when teachers are absent, support students in and out of the classroom, and play an important part in the daily life of a busy secondary school.
What you’ll be doing
In this role you’ll help students stay on track, uphold school expectations and create a positive learning environment. Day-to-day, you’ll:
Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absence
Communicate the work set and keep students engaged
Manage behaviour using the school’s policies and expectations
Register and record attendance
Ensure resources for lessons are prepared and used appropriately
