Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a cover supervisor , starting September 2026. A cover supervisor covers lessons in the absence of their regular teacher, due to absence, sickness or trips, ensuring that students remain engaged and follow the work set for them.
Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Management: Supervising students during lessons to ensure they remain on task, meet the school’s high expectations and adhere to the school’s behaviour policies.
- Delivering Set Work: Distributing and delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and resources provided by the teacher.
- Supporting Learning: Answering students’ questions about the work and encouraging participation.
