Crane Technician Opportunity Summary:
Crane Technicians are responsible for inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of cranes and forklifts. They ensure crane safety and operational efficiency by diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, repairing components, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Job Duties:
- Performs accurate failure analysis and troubleshooting using appropriate tooling.
- Maintains safe functionality of cranes.
- Discusses findings with customer, proposing solutions that optimize customer satisfaction while maximizing sales opportunities.
- Creates job repair plan based on diagnosis to include repair operations required and anticipated repair hours needed to complete repair.
- Travels to customers’ location to perform repairs when necessary.
