Purpose of the Role
The Credit & Collections Analyst is responsible for is reviewing the credit worthiness of our existing customers and to perform a credit risk review in a professional and systematic manner
Key Responsibilities:
- DNBi (Dun & Bradstreet) credit reports, monitoring services and the credit scoring models
- Blue Book credit reports and attendant data
- RetailStat report
- USDA (PACA) licensing and complaint (formal & informal) data
- Discussion with the assigned collector to ascertain any pertinent relationship issues
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of Commercial Collections experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, analytical and independent thinking.
