Role Overview
Cross Technology Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L2) – a developing engineering role that provides professional second‑line remote and/or onsite technical support and field engineering services. Responsible for identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems, ensuring incidents meet SLA targets.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
- Install and configure software solutions per client requirements.
- Proactively identify problems and errors as they occur and log incidents with required detail.
- Liaise with stakeholders – client IT, carriers, colleagues – to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
- Investigate second‑line support calls, determine root causes using knowledge articles.
- Respond to and diagnose alerts; when unresolved within stipulated time, elevate to L3 Field Engineer.
