Under general supervision, prepares patients for and performs CT examination.Core Competencies
  • Uses ALARA and safety principle at all times.
  • Displays flexibility, team spirit, compassion, respect, politeness and accountability when dealing with customers.
  • Provides healthcare services in own job category to all age groups.
  • Demonstrates awareness of and sensitivity for patients' rights in all interactions with patients.
  • Completes all assigned procedures in a timely manner and uses time between procedures to department advantage assisting others, clerical duties, stocking, transporting, etc
  • Utilizes Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.
  • Answers telephone inquiries of a technical nature from physicians or hospital personnel in other area of the hospital while maintaining good phone etiquette
