Permanent, Full-time. Based in our Whangarei Office.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice to leadership teams and teachers on implementing curriculum, assessment and aromatawai changes using a whole of kura approach.
- Work directly with schools and kura in the region to implement curriculum and assessment changes, especially for students learning through te reo Māori.
- Support all students learning through te reo Māori to implement the updated Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and develop effective teaching practices.
- Support professional learning, develop teachers' pedagogical content knowledge, helping them implement Rangaranga Reo ā Ta and Pāngarau and other priorities.
- Provide teachers with advice and access to quality resources to strengthen their teaching, assessment and aromatawai knowledge, practice and skills.
