Job Description
* Direct and administer overall operations of the custodial services department. This initiative includes the establishment and implementation of college-wide standards and operational policies.* Strive and follow APPA custodial cleaning standards. Look to maintain appropriate staffing for adequate coverage in the academic and residential buildings across campus.* Participate as an active member of the Operations Leadership Team. Engage other department managers in coordinated initiatives across campus that improve reliability, enhance overall utility performance, or further campus sustainability efforts.* Define departmental goals and polices to supervisory staff to ensure objectives are being met. Provide guidance to supervisors and assistant managers when needed, in handling day-to-day operational issues, problems and grievances.* Design training programs for staff and employees.* Conduct frequent meetings with staff to review plans, policies and to receive feedback.* Conduct per...
